Ariana Grande has tagged the prolific Director X to helm her latest Positions music video, “34+35.”
The visual sees Grande continuing her “smart and successful woman” Positions narrative, and this time is a scientist trying to bring her experiment to life. She’s victorious for a brief moment, but her experiment — who is actually another version of the pop singer — transforms Grande and her clean-cut crew into negligee-wearing dancing dolls.
Positions marked the GRAMMY winner’s fifth No. 1 album and her third chart-topping effort in less than two years and three months, officially making her the fastest woman in over a decade to collect these No. 1 accolades. The album follows 2019’s thank u, next, which tied her Billboard record with the Beatles‘ and became her third project to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify.
