Naga Munchetty’s salary far eclipses that of her BBC Breakfast co-stars, it has been revealed.
The BBC has unveiled its list of its highest paid stars, with Match Of The Day presenter Gary Lineker at the top for the sixth year running with a salary of a whopping £1.35 million and radio host Zoe Ball in second place with £980,000.
The list included the stars of BBC Breakfast, and showed that Naga – who has been a regular presenter on the programme since 2014 – was pocketing more than everyone else with a salary in the range of £335,000 to £339,999.

However, the 48-year-old TV star made the sum over the last financial year for both BBC Breakfast and Radio 5 Live's Naga Munchetty Programme.
Meanwhile, her co-star Charlie Stayt raked in a tidy £190,000 to £194,999 salary for his role on the popular morning programme.
Jon Kay made £185,000 to £189,999 and Sally Nugent’s salary was in the range of £178,000 to £184,999.
This year’s list of top BBC earners featured many of the same celebrities who were on it last year but there were some changes.
They included Vanessa Feltz, who was in the top 10 in 2022 with a salary of £400,000 to £404,999 but has now dropped out of it.
And others, such as Huw Edwards, rose from their 2022 positions.
In last year’s list, the Welsh star was in seventh with a salary in the range of £410,000 to £414,999 thanks to the News at Six and the News at Ten and other news programmes.
But the 61-year-old is now in fourth place, with a salary of £435,000.
Some big BBC names were not on the list at all.
This is because the corporation does not have to announce how much people make if they are paid via its commercial arm or by independent companies.
