Billie Eilish My Future: What time is new single out? Can you stream it?

Billie Eilish has been making music over lockdown, it turns out, as her new single is almost ready to drop. The young singer was meant to be touring the world this year, but now she has had to change her plans, which thankfully includes new music. Fans are already desperately trying to find the song online – but what time is it out?

Taking to Twitter, Billie posted a very simple few words which had fans salivating.

She tweeted: “Billie Eilish – “my future. Out next Thursday”

This simple post was sent out on July 24, meaning the date for the upcoming single is July 30.

Since then, however, a second post has come out, with an image of a cartoon Billie looking out from a hillside at the moon in the twilight.

In this post, she said: “Billie Eilish – my future. Out Thursday at 4pm PT”

This means, for UK fans, the song will drop on at midnight, which means the song will technically arrive on Friday, July 31, for those in the UK.

Billie has also spoken on her podcast with her father about a song which her brother Finneas wrote for her, though fans are now guessing this could be My Future.

She said: “We wrote a whole song in its entirety — an entire song, which is kind of rare for us. I really love it.

“It was exactly what I needed to say when we wrote it.”

While many are guessing what My Future is, little is known about the single at present, but some are wondering whether it will signal the arrival of a new album from the singer.

Back in January 2020, Billie confirmed she was working on a new album, however it does not look like this album will be out soon.

She said: “This year, no, but I will be making it this year.

“But next few years? It’s coming. When it’s made. It’s not made yet.”

Of course, this was said before the COVID-19 pandemic took place, at which point Billie was expecting to be travelling the world on her tour.

Now she has had some time at home, it may be the album will be ready a little earlier than expected – especially as a new single has already been announced.

However, one thing we do know is coming soon is a documentary on Billie Eilish, which will follow her after the release of her Grammy-winning album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

Speaking about this to iHeart Radio in January, she said: “I’ve seen no part of it.

“I’m terrified. I’m freaked out. They’ve been filming since like July of 2018…

“Who has that much footage of them that they’ve never seen? I’m terrified.”

The documentary will be released on Apple TV+ and was directed by R.J. Cutler and produced in collaboration with her label, Interscope Records.

Given Billie released a short video about self-confidence and body issues, it may be this plays a key role in the documentary, though this is currently unclear.

The film will be released in 2020, though at present it has not been confirmed when exactly this will be.

It has been said this has earned Billie a whopping $25million (£19.4million) which is a huge amount given she has only 18-years-old.

However, as the youngest ever winner of the top four Grammy Awards, it seems a natural progression for the singer.

Billie’s new song, My Future, is released on July 30, 4pm PT, which will be midnight on July 31 for UK fans
