Cardi B has welcomed her second baby into the world with Offset – after giving birth at a hospital near New York on September 4.

The US rapper, 28, announced the big news as she shared a sweet snap of her and Offset in hospital with the little one.

Taking to Instagram to update her whopping 108m followers, she wrote: "9/4/21" – the date her latest bub was born.

It comes after the I Like It rapper made a surprise announcement that she was pregnant again in June during a performance at the BET Awards.

At the live event, she performed alongside Offset and the rest of his hip hop trio, Migos, and flaunted a revealing outfit which highlighted her baby bump.

The star later confirmed the news on social media, taking to Twitter to share a stunning snap from a photoshoot where she could be seen sporting a large baby bump.

Alongside the elegant photo, she penned the caption: "#2 @OffsetYRN" as she attached an emoji of a love heart.
