Girls Aloud may have a hold up with their tour costumes if one of their bandmate's children has anything to do with it.
Bear Payne, son of Girls Aloud star Cheryl Tweedy, is not impressed with the costumes the girl group used to wear because they were too scanty. And he doesn't like that his famous singer mum was getting 'naked' during her time with the band.
Cheryl made the hilarious confession during an exclusive chat on ITV show This Morning to host Alison Hammond today. Asked whether they’d also be dusting off their old outfits, Kimberley Walsh turned to bandmate Cheryl and joked about how Cheryl’s son Bear – her six year-old with ex Liam Payne – wasn’t a fan of their stage outfits.

Kimberley joked: “I don’t think Bear is going to let us recycle anything is he? He’s not too happy!” Cheryl laughed about her son putting his foot down over their wardrobe choices: “He’s not impressed. "Recently, somebody played Tangled Up tour and we all watched it and Bear watched it.
"I could see his mind ticking and then he went ‘Mummy, why all the nakedness?’” The bandmates also admitted that despite all being parents now, it didn’t impact the tour.
Kimberly said: “They don’t have a clue about any of this life! They’re only coming up to an age now where they’re slightly interested.” Alison joked that the way to impress a younger generation was “a lot of TikTok dances”.
Kimberly asked her: “Can you help us?! Can you actually help us with this? Because you’re great!" It was around 20 years ago that Hugh Grant’s hilarious dance in the Christmas hit Love Actually helped their cover ‘Jump’ to huge success in the UK charts.
Nicola Roberts said: “That was a real turning point because it was a little bit hit and miss with the label at that point we were actually, potentially, going to be dropped before Jump… because the songs had gone from one, to two, to three. Then Jump was proposed to us and thank god it was just a massive success and it saved us.”
The ladies also revealed their intentions to ensure their upcoming greatest hits tour “massively celebrated” the life of Sarah Harding. Cheryl , Nadine Coyle, Nicola, and Kimberley told Alison how wonderful it was to be back together in memory of their late bandmate, who died from breast cancer in September 2021.
Nicola said: “We’re going to work really hard in making those moments of Sarah so magical, which honour her, which make the fans feel so included. We want to give everyone that moment where she can be massively celebrated.” Kimberly added: “What we want to try and do is capture that nostalgia that we created with her, as a five, over those years that we were together.”
