Christine McGuinness hints at feud with ex Paddy after cryptic children comment

Christine McGuiness set tongues wagging by posting a cryptic comment concerning the three children she shares with her ex, Paddy McGuiness.

The pair confirmed their split in a joint statement last summer following months of speculation about their relationship.

It appeared to be an amicable break-up with former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine later revealing they were "trying to keep things as normal as possible" for the kids' sake, even spending Christmas together as a family.

However, with their divorce process ongoing, it looks like the beauty's situation may have changed with presenter and comedian, Paddy.

Referencing Beautiful South's Rotterdam song, Christine took to her Instagram account on Wednesday (August 16) and seemingly took a swipe at a certain somebody.

She wrote: "Just minding my own business, wishing others could do the same. I’m probably in Rotterdam right now who knows, this could be anywhere!"

A fan quickly responded to declare her frustration at Christine's recent social media content, commenting: "I used to like the real family pics with your children's antics. You don't post them anymore. I hope you and they are well. Unfollow."

And the rather unsavoury remark prompted Christine to reveal: "I am not allowed to show my own children, it’s not my choice."

It follows another recent comment on the platform in which she reiterated that she "did not cause the breakdown" of her marriage to Paddy.

At the time Christine explained that she wanted to get her point across and hoped the truth would finally prevail.

Following her declaration on camera, the stunning model hit out at reports she had been holidaying in the Balearic Islands rather than spending time with the kids as Paddy turned 50.

Her statement began: "They know I spent Patrick's 50th at home with him and our children yesterday but are writing a false narrative that I wasn't here."

Christine continued: "Patrick is my ex, my ex of well over a year, (let me just remind you, I did not cause the breakdown of our marriage) I've never spoken about this fully. I will also remind everyone that I am not silenced and will speak if/when I choose to.

"I got him a birthday cake, presents and made cards with our children. I done this for our children to celebrate daddy's birthday.

"We spent his 50th at home together and he celebrated separately with his friends on various different holidays over the last few weeks. Again the press are choosing not to show much of that.

"Trust me, I wish I was still on holiday."
