Dr Dre's home was targeted by sick criminals following the news he'd been rushed to hospital after suffering a reported brain aneurysm.
According to TMZ, some would-be thieves apparently saw that the music mastermind had been hospitalised and tried breaking into his home.
Sources told the US publication that four men were spotted on Dre's property during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Security officers spotted the gang as they lurked around the rap legend's Pacific Palisades land.
Before they could get to the main section of the home, security confronted them and quickly called police.
The group tried to flee the scene but police officers arrived and arrested four men for attempted burglary and are currently in custody.
Dre is currently being treated in Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, after falling ill on Monday.
The 55-year-old music mogul sent a message to fans on Tuesday evening give fans an update in his condition and to thank everyone for their well wishes.
Sharing an update with his social media followers, Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, penned: "Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes.
"I'm doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!"
Fans have since flocked to the comment section, sending their good wishes to the entrepreneur who founded the Beats by Dr Dre brand.
"Good to see you doing well," penned one supporter.
While a second added: "We love you Dre, glad to hear."
"God is good praying for you," said a third.
Earlier today, TMZ reported that Dre was in a "stable and lucid" condition whilst medics ran tests to discover the cause of his sudden aneurysm.
Dre's hospitalisation comes in the midst of a divorce battle between Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young and his wife, Nicole Young after the pair had been married for 24 years.
The former couple announced their intentions to divorce in June 2020, with Nicole citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the pair to file the paperwork.
