EastEnders legend Adam Woodyatt is living at a motorhome after splitting from his wife of 22 years.
He is best known for playing Ian Beale for the past 36 years, making him the joint longest-serving cast member.
However the 52-year-old is currently on a break from the hit soap, and is spending his time living “in a field in Devon”.
He bought the home to tour in for the upcoming play, Looking Good Dead, so he wouldn’t have to keep finding temporary accommodation.
But after the play was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic, he decided to move into it early.
The actor told The Sun: “I am loving my break, I’m having a ball. I’m getting ready for the tour which was supposed to have started in January, then it was supposed to start in April and then it was supposed to start in June – it keeps getting knocked back.
“But basically I’m in a motorhome.
“I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that. But I’ve taken advantage of it and I’m currently in a field in Devon.”

He took to Instagram recently to show his followers his “current neighbours” which were a pair of pheasants as well as a patch of bluebells near his field, saying: “Devon is glorious”.
Speaking on Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 breakfast show, Adam said: “It’s a cracking tour. My only complaint is seeing as I’m the driver of said motorhome… at one point we’ve got to go from Edinburgh to Brighton.

The news comes after Adam confirmed that his marriage had ended in August, after separating from his wife Beverley Sharp the previous year.
The couple tied the knot back in 1998 and share two grown-up children together, Jessica and Samuel.
Previously it was revealed that Adam earns between £200,000 and £249,000 a year on the BBC soap.
He was last seen on the show in January after disappearing following Sharon Mitchell’s plan to kill him with Phil Mitchell.
