Elton John was rushed to hospital on Sunday night after he suffered a terrible fall at his villa in the heart of Nice, France.
The Tiny Dancer hitmaker, 76, was taken to the orthopaedic department of the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco where he was treated for minor injuries.
A representative for Elton confirmed to MailOnline that the music legend had been discharged on Monday morning (August 28) and is now back at home in good health.

They told the publication in a statement: "We can confirm that following a slip yesterday at his home in the south of France, Elton visited a local hospital as a precautionary measure.
"Following check ups, he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back at home and in good health."
It is understood Elton has been spending the summer in France with his husband David Furnish and their two sons after wrapping up his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour back in July.
He was last seen enjoying a relaxing day on his superyacht with a host of A-list friends in St Tropez on August 22.
The singer was also spotted having dinner with Kevin Spacey in Niece earlier this month after the actor was cleared of sex attacks on four men.
While the Rocket Man singer hasn't rules out releasing new music in the future, the doting dad has decided to retire from touring to spend more time with his husband and their kids.
He told fans: "Touring is exhausting for me now, and it takes me away from my family and my children."
But Elton reassured fans that he hasn't given up on performing for good and will likely still play "the odd show" every now and then.
It's clear to see that family is important to the chart-topping singer who previously called his two sons "the greatest thing" in his life.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2016, he said: "If you'd had said to me ten years ago I'd be sitting on your show married to the man I love and have two beautiful children, I would have said, 'You put acid in my drink'.

"But life throws you challenges and life throws you curveballs – great curveballs – and these two children have come along at a time I never thought I'd have children.
"There's no words to describe how much we love these boys. They're just amazing."
