Emma Watson calls Harry Potter co-star her soulmate amid romance rumours

Emma Watson has called her Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton her “soulmate” in a gushing tribute.

The actress, who played smart witch Hermione Granger in the cult movie franchise, penned the foreword of Felton’s upcoming memoir, Beyond the Wand: The Magic and Mayhem of Growing Up a Wizard.

The four-page message, which was shared by a fan account earlier this week, set tongues wagging about her feelings towards Fenton, who plays Draco Malfoy in the movies, as she wrote: “You know that person in your life who makes you feel seen? That person who is somehow a witness to all that unfolds?

"That person who knows—really knows—what is happening to you and what you’re going through without anything having to be said?

“For me, that person is Tom Felton.”

Rumours of a romance between the pair have been swirling for years, and fans have long been holding out hope for the pair to end up together. Now, Emma, 32, has only added fuel to the fire once more by dubbing him her soulmate.

"Like Tom, I always struggle to explain to people the nature of our connection and relationship. For more than 20 years now, we've loved each other in a special way, and I've lost count of the times that people have said to me, 'You must have drunkenly made out, just once!' But we what we have is far deeper than that.

"It's one of the purest loves I can think of. We're soulmates, and we've always had each other's backs. I know we always will," she gushed.

Emma spent a full decade filming the wildly popular movies and recently admitted that while she really enjoyed and appreciated working on the movies, there were some scenes that she couldn’t wait to be done with.

The Little Women actor wasn’t happy about having to kiss her co-stars, Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, as she’d grown up with her fellow actors and considered them to be brothers.

She also recalled a scene where she had to drop into a lake in the middle of winter in England.

“The lake wasn’t heated, and because we had to get changed as part of the next scene, we couldn’t wear anything underneath,” Watson recalled to JoBlo. “I was lucky. I had my bottom half with some thermals on, but I was like, ‘This must be a joke.’ It was so cold.

“I hate being cold more than anything, so that was my most memorable day. I was like, ‘I can’t wait for this to be over!’”
