Richard Madeley has been left outraged after he revealed that he was robbed at his local pub.
The 67-year-old presenter, who hosts ITV breakfast show Good Morning Britain, claims he became a victim of a "malicious magic trick". Clearly angered by the situation, Richard said he wanted the thief who took his belongings to be "hanged".
Richard said his iPhone was swiped by someone selling a magazine and since the unexpected incident took place the presenter said he feels like his right arm has been "chopped off".

During the magic trick, Richard claimed the thief cunningly placed the magazine on top of his mobile before lifting it away undetected. The ITV star now wants the perpetrator punished for their cruel act.
Recalling the incident in The Spectator, Richard harshly said he wants the death penalty to be brought back. He wrote: "I’ve always been against capital punishment but after the week I’ve had I’m making an exception."
"I was in my local when a weird-looking guy shambling around the bar slammed a dog-eared magazine down on my table and demanded I buy it.
"When I refused he swept it back again and wandered off. Five minutes later I realised he’d smuggled my phone away underneath the magazine."
Warning his readers about phone theft, Richard went on to say that he loathes the person who did this to him but he'll "settle for a straightforward hanging. Just as long as I’m the one allowed to pull the trapdoor lever".
The news comes after Richard appeared to support David Walliams stating that he "misses" seeing him on television. Writer and former Britain's Got Talent star David landed himself in hot water when leaked audio emerged which seemingly suggested that he had made "inappropriate remarks" about contestants on the show.
Last year November, The Guardian reported that Walliams had referred to one Britain's Got Talent contestant as a "c**t" and said about another, "she thinks you want to f**k her, but you don't", during breaks in filming Britain's Got Talent's 2020 season.

But since his axe from the programme, David has been paid a reported £1 million in damages Talking about this incident on Good Morning Britain, Richard said: "Can I just say. I miss David Walliams on television.
"I miss him. He was an incredibly entertaining character on Britain’s Got Talent and all of the other things he did."
Richard also said the audio being leaked was a "breach of privacy" and questioned whether it had been done to "undermine" him. But co-host Susanna Reid reminded Richard of some of the comments that were supposedly said by David at the time.
