Katie Price beams as she walks in heels for first time since breaking both feet

Katie Price beamed as she found she could walk in heels for the first time since breaking both her feet in a freak accident last year.

The glamour model, 42, slipped on a pair of Gucci platform wedges in preparation for an appearance on Steph’s Packed Lunch last week.

In a chic pink cardigan and tight pink trousers, Katie looked excited – but a little nervous – as she tottered around the dressing room.

In a video posted to her YouTube channel, Katie announced: “Today is the actual first day that I’m actually going to wear heels ever since my accident.

“So I don’t know what they’re like to walk in because these were summer shoes, can I still walk in them?”

As soon as she began to parade around the room, Katie grinned and said: “Yes I actually f****** can!”

She then squared up to boyfriend Carl Woods, 32, and asked: “You all right? How are you?”

The pair exchanged a few brief kisses as Katie laughed: “Do you want lipstick on you?”

Speaking about the shoes, she added: “I love it! They’re actually so comfortable.”

Katie revealed last month that she had been registered disabled and received a blue badge after breaking both her feet in Turkey last July.

She fell 25 feet in a freak accident, when she jumped off a wall at the Land of Legends theme park, but misjudged the height.

Last year, she shared gruesome images of the stitches and bruising in her feet, along with X-rays.

The blonde bombshell posted to Instagram: “For people who said I haven’t broken my feet or people saying I’ve had a bunion operation […] They will now see I wasn’t lying to the point I’ve had MAJOR SURGERY to my life changing injuries.”

She told The Sun in an interview that she is in constant pain and “waddles like a duck” when trying to walk.

“I will never be the same,” the star said. “I’ve got a limp when I walk now as one leg is longer than the other because of all the metal in the foot – I waddle like a duck. It does make me feel a bit paranoid.”

She explained that she hasn’t been taking her prescribed painkillers as she worries about becoming addicted.

Katie says she can only walk for 20 minutes at a time, and has four-weekly physiotherapy sessions.

“It’s the most painful thing ever,” she said following the accident. “Like when I was trying to put the cast on, I was screaming in pain. They said I won’t be able to walk for three to six months.
