Katie Price blasted by fans after posting video of her riding horse in the road

Katie Price has come under fire from critics who were left shocked by a video of her riding her horse on the road.

The OnlyFans star posted a clip to her Instagram page of herself sitting on Wallis as she attempted to display her riding skills to her followers.

Katie, 44, wore pink from head to toe, with a helmet and sunglasses on as she posed on the animal's back while moving along the tarmac.

The horse started moving swiftly as they progressed along their route with Katie smiling for the camera as they enjoyed their outing.

Sharing the video with her fans on the social media app and clearly enjoying her day out, Katie captioned the post: "My beautiful Wallis, my happy place."

However, not everyone was pleased to see Katie enjoying herself with Wallis and some took the opportunity to slam her for riding him in the 'incorrect' way.

Some claimed that she would "ruin" the horses legs by "collected cantering on hard ground," and that they felt the horse looked "uncomfortable".

Horses are at risk of forming cracks in their hooves and damaging their leg joints when they are allowed to canter on hard surfaces.

There is also an increased risk of the horse slipping or falling on smooth surfaces such as tarmac and concrete.

One concerned fan wrote: "Not sure cantering on hard ground is good for the legs."

Another added: "Cantering on the road. Brilliant horsewomanship! Great way to ruin your horse!"

A third agreed: "Bet that does his joints the world of good on the road!"

A fourth said: "Yep that’s doing his legs a lot of good cantering on the road."

However, not everyone had a negative view of Katie spending time with her horse, with some fans speaking out in her defence.

One offered: "The horse is just feeling fresh," while a second agreed: "Why do so many people see the negative in everything, he's just full of beans."

A third posted: "It looks like he's just having a bit of a tantrum and she's trying to rein him in."

A fourth explained: "He looks like he's just prancing and excited. My horse does this on the way home after a ride."
