Katie Price claims she still has no idea why her ex-hubby Peter Andre ended their four-year marriage, and insists she "did nothing wrong".
The pair embarked on a whirlwind romance that had the nation besotted when they both appeared as campmates on the third series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! back in 2004.
Their huge Cinderella-themed wedding cost a whopping £1.75million and took place at Highclere Castle in Berkshire, where Downton Abbey was filmed.
And shortly after came the births of the duo’s children, Junior and Princess.
Katie opened up about her "quickie divorce" on the That’s After Live podcast alongside Dame Esther Rantzen and Adrian Mills.
Dame Esther suggested a reality show the pair were involved with could have been the reason behind the split.
She said: "You were making a reality show with Peter Andre and I think you and Pete actually split. Right, you want to know why I think that was?"
Katie answered: "Yeah, I’d love to know – I wanna know. I never did anything wrong."
Esther continued: "That reality show was quite damaging.
"It got into your relationship and made you look so dominant and it made him look so gentle. And you know how it is with television – the viewers always like the underdog.
"It began to look as if Pete was in love with you and trying to do what you wanted and nothing was quite right for you."
The couple were involved in a series of ITV2 reality shows after appearing in the jungle, beginning with When Jordan Met Peter and ending with Katie & Peter: Stateside in 2009.
Peter was subsequently awarded his own fly-on-the-wall show – Peter Andre: My Life – after their split.
Katie told Dame Esther: “I totally agree, especially towards the end.
"But the way I look at it is, it happened, you can’t change the past. But it’s been a horrific journey since then.
"I’m still here, I didn’t actually push the button to commit suicide, that’s why I went to get help and I will never, ever let anyone or anything around me ever get me in that state again."

In October last year, Katie admitted that she checked herself into The Priory and begged specialists to help her avoid suicide.
She told The Mirror at the time: "It was severe trauma rehabilitation.
"I went to The Priory and I booked in and said ‘I don’t want to leave here, I want to be an inpatient, help me to sort out my head, this is my last chance to do it, I don’t want to die, I don’t want to kill myself, help me.'"
She also revealed on Loose Women in 2017 that during her dream wedding to Peter in 2005, she was suffering from post-natal depression which meant she "didn’t enjoy the day".
