Last week, former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger was photographed going about her business in a see-through top and black face mask, despite government advise to stay indoors to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
Sharing the images to Instagram, Lauren wrote: "So today was COVID-19 mask. Be safe, be careful and keep clean."
However her 756,000 followers weren't having her impromptu fashion show, taking to the comments section to advise her of her actions.
But Lauren, 33, wasn't staying quiet and swiftly clapped back at commenters – some of them NHS workers – and fiercely disagreeing with them.
One person wrote: "You are not meant to be out. So so selfish. Did you seriously not think before posting this? I work for the NHS. People are dying. Please delete this and please stay indoors."
Lauren snapped: "I am working please shut up. Until the government and NHS says all salons closed, until then I will be working!"
The original commenter responded: "Telling someone who is working for the NHS to shut up. Lovely. Salons are not needed right now and even if you do work you don't need to advertise you out and about all over Insta."
Laren told them: "Go and put your hate and negativity else where. What type of person that works for the NHS wants to write hate on a celeb's page? Disgrace."
Another follower commented: "As an NHS nurse you are just taking the p***. How ridiculous."
Lauren replied: "What about?! You should know better then…"
A third person wrote: "I'm sorry but I'm NHS front line and seeing this as a 'fashion' item makes me so disappointed. Not having a go at Lauren, but it's just the idea this is funny for the 'gram."
Again, Lauren was not backing down, saying: "Have a long hard look at the post and comments and what's been replied. Trust me I'll just post more! It's a f***ing mask! Which I also was wearing for aesthetics before you lot were! The world has gone mental!"
Afterwards, Lauren pointed at the apparent "haters", writing: "Yesterday I got trolled on Instagram. Has no one learnt anything this year?

"We have had some horrific things happen and now we are all trying to help each other through a worldwide pandemic.
"Be kind and remember, everyone is a person and everyone has feelings. So before you type, just think what may your words do to another person.
"Have a safe and happy Sunday everyone!"
It seems Lauren won't be staying inside any time soon.
