Liam Gallagher has put a new spin on the hit Oasis song Wonderwall, taking inspiration from the coronavirus pandemic.
The 47-year-old singer shared a video of himself washing his hands in the sink, as he belted out a doctored version of the 1995 banger.
Written by Liam's brother Noel Gallagher, Wonderwall is one of the band's most memorable hits, released on their second album (What's the Story) Morning Glory?
Branding the new tune "Wonderwash," Liam kept his fans' spirits raised as he sang into the camera earlier today.
Wearing a bucket hat and a pair of round shades, the Beady Eye hitmaker tinted the video with a black-and-white filter.
The first few lines of the song started off the same, with "Today is gonna be the day…
"That they're gonna throw it back to you."
Mixing things up, Liam added: "Wash your hands, scrubs your toes, scratch your a**e and pick your nose.
"C’mon you know."
In the comments below, Liam’s fans were chuffed with the hygiene-conscious lyrics, and thanked him for boosting their mood during self-isolation.
One joked: "Champagne soapernova."
A second added: "NOW THIS IS THE CONTENT I LIKE TO SEE."
And a third chimed: "One of the best things you’ve ever tweeted. Keeping it real sunsheeeeine, you don’t know how many people needed this x"
Liam has been on-hand with helpful tips since news of the coronavirus crisis broke, regularly keeping his fans in the loop with the best ways to prevent spreading the virus.
Last week he tweeted: "Seriously though all this corona talk is making me wanna get on it if truth be told I’m meant to be having a break from the almighty juice anyways as you were c’mon you know wash yer hands and scrub yer toes LG x."
