Margot Robbie and Rylan Gosling wowed fans as the picture-perfect couple in Barbie – but it turns out she wanted a bit more lip action.
There’s no denying the fact that Barbie was an instant smash hit. The movie, directed by Greta Gerwig, premiered on screens earlier this year.
Grossing around £1.1million worldwide and bagging rave reviews, the film has most definitely made its mark in the entertainment industry. Not to mention it became a cultural phenomenon, with fans decked out in all-pink outfits to watch it.

Produced by and starring Aussie beauty Margot, the movie follows Barbie (Margot) getting the high-heeled boot from Barbie Land. The Stereotypical Barbie then went off into the real world to explore what makes her truly happy.
A-lister Ryan played the Ken to Margot’s Robbie and joined in her the real world. But despite being a ‘couple’, the pair never even properly lock lips. And Margot was not too happy about this.
Speaking to People, Margot was asked if she was happy she never got the chance to smooch Ryan in the film. She replied: “Uh, no! That didn’t feel like a win for me.”
Margot then went on to reveal how her friends were not impressed that she didn’t lock lips with the Canadian heartthrob. She said: “All of my girlfriends were like, ‘Well, you did a whole movie with him and you don’t kiss?’
“‘What’s wrong with you? I thought you were kind of in charge on this one!” Margot recalled. She added: "'I was like, ‘I know, I can’t check that one off [my list].”
But it seems Ryan was rather pleased that he didn’t have to kiss Margot in Barbie. He told the publication: “It was so funny trying to figure out what their idea of kissing might be. I'm so glad all of that got cut out."
