Mike Tindall to miss Chris Moyles birthday bash with Im A Celeb co-stars

Mike Tindall has confirmed he won't be attending Chris Moyles' birthday bash later this month along with the rest of the 2022 cast of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

Tindall, who finished the series in fourth place behind winner Jill Scott, Owen Warner and Matt Hancock, cited half-term as the reason for his no-show.

The 42-year-old shares three children – Mia, Lucas and Lena – with his royal wife Zara Tindall and wants spend time with the trio on their week off school.

He told the Express: "Unfortunately I’m not (going), that’s half term and that’s kiddy time."

The former England rugby union star moved quickly to deny reports of a fallout amongst the former jungle campmates, adding that nobody has left the WhatsApp group the celebrities established following their time down under.

"I think there's been a miscommunication with that, no one has left the WhatsApp group," he told the Sun at the Legends of Rugby Dinner 2023 in Aid of Nordoff Robbins.

He continued: "I'm actually seeing Sue [Cleaver] tomorrow, and I've seen Sue a few times and spoken to Baba [Aleshe] and pretty much spoken to everyone. Well, we try to but it's not easy.

"You always have these grand plans when you're in the jungle but you come back and remember what life was before."

Another contestant who may not be in attendance, meanwhile, is Scarlette Douglas – who claimed in December that Moyles has 'ghosted' her since they appeared on the ITV show together.

The 35-year-old confessed that she messaged her former co-star Chris, 48, but he has failed to hear back from him since their three-week stint in the jungle.

Sharing an update on the status of their friendship, Scarlette told Johnny Seifert on the Secure The Insecure podcast: "So Chris Moyles I had met on the Ant and Dec tour, so when I saw him, I was like, 'I've met you before.

"We've got a mutual friend, I am the voice of Capital Xtra and you are on Radio X next to the Capital Xtra studio, and he's like 'No way'.

"So we had a really good bond since when we were in there. And then since we've come out, I kind of message him a bit, and it doesn't really get back to me. I know.

"So if you're listening, Chris, can you please reply to my voice note," she added.
