Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger appears to have fallen hook, line and sinker for rugby ace Thom Evans.
Simon Cowell's co-star secretly invited Thom up to Birmingham for the final of X Factor: The Band to watch her in action.
Keen to keep his appearance on the down-low, Thom was snuck out of the studio at Birmingham's Resorts World Arena 10 minutes before filming was wrapped up.
A source told Daily Star Online: "People thought that Thom and Nicole were just for show or simply a storyline used to get people talking about The X Factor but they are the real deal.

"Over the weekend he followed Nicole up to Birmingham to watch the filming of X Factor: The Band final.
"They wanted to keep things as quite as possible so he was snuck out the back of the studio 10 minutes before the end of filming wrapped up."
Both Thom and Nicole also decided not to post about his trip to Birmingham on social media.
Neither of the stars have publicly commented on their blossoming romance, though they were spotted partying in Soho's Freedom bar and club with singer Sam Smith last week.

The insider added: "Things are really heating up and Thom stayed with Nicole on Sunday night, but it's not clear how things will pan out.
"They are really into each other but Nicole is going back to LA for Christmas so things are kind of up in the air."
X Factor viewers will have noticed Nicole has had her eye on Thom ever since his first audition at Simon Cowell's Malibu mansion.

After Try Star performed, the Don't Cha hitmaker shamelessly flirted with the three rugby lads – even telling Ben Foden she was "excited about his shirt" and how it hung "freely and openly on [his] chesticles".
Nicole later whispered to Simon: "These guys are hot, I'm newly single and ready to mingle," to which he replied: "No more sports stars babe."
