Spice Girl and X Factor judge Mel B made the shocking announcement that she has potential partners tested for sexually contracted diseases before she sleeps with them.
Opening up about sexual health, Melanie said: "I do think it's important to have that conversation before you have sex with them. I've done it.
"You'd be surprised if it's just part of the conversation how willing and able that conversation's outcome ends up being.
"I've been out on the however-many dates, and I can see it's heading down that area, and I've gone, 'let's go to the clinic together and get it done'."

Melanie, 44, who is currently single, made the confession on The Truth Flirts podcast before going on to confess: "I always have condoms in my bag. Not in my immediate backpack but I will have them if I know I'm going to be going somewhere."
Scary Spice has also admitted to speaking to her daughters about sex, claiming she fears it wouldn't be covered in depth in American schools.
Mel, a mum-of-three brought the topic with her daughter Phoenix when she was 13 and is planning to discuss the topic with her daughters, 12 and eight.

The Leeds born star went on to say: "In the beginning, it was really awkward but I just thought there's no better way to do it than for you to hear it from me.
"So our relationship got really close, to a point where she would then come to me when she started dating guys. It's all about communication."
