Strictly Come Dancing contestant and hunky olympian Adam Peaty, has gone from a baby-faced newcomer in 2014, to chiselled and bulky after earning gold medals and a spot in the Strictly 2021 line-up.
Adam George Peaty, MBE was born on December 28, 1994, and is best known for being a competitive swimmer specialising in breaststroke, and has won many medals while competing.
He has since turned his hand to dancing and is currently a popular competing on the BBC programme with dancer Katya Jones.
Adam has been in the news quite a bit recently, thanks to his steamy Argentine tango and 'near kiss' with his dance partner, Katya.
Here at Daily Star, we thought it was only fair that we all get the chance to swoon over Adam's amazing transformation – from slender swimmer to a burley gold medalist.
Baby-faced newcomer
Adam was a young, innocent newcomer who first burst onto the swimming scene in 2014, and has since taken the world of swimming, sports and now dancing by storm.
He first joined Dove Valley Swimming Club in Uttoxeter when he was nine, and started to win races and set club records when he was 12.
At 14 he joined the City of Derby Swimming Club, but the coach – former Olympic swimmer Melanie Marshall, was not impressed by his performance.
Although, his coach did notice something 'special' the first time she saw him swim breaststroke.
Proving the doubters wrong, he went on to win his first Gold Medal in the 100-metre breaststroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the first by a male British swimmer in 24 years.
Bulking up
Adam Peaty retained the title at the 2020 Summer Olympics in 2021, the first British swimmer ever to retain an Olympic title.
He is also an eight-time World Champion, a sixteen-time European Champion and a three-time Commonwealth Champion.
In 2019, Adam revealed his secret to looking as chiselled as he does to Men's Health, where he was candid about his diet.
Speaking to the publication he said: "In the morning I’ll have Weetabix, the normal high fibre, low glycemic food.
"Then towards the middle of the day I’ll have around 400g of chicken with a lot of vegetables and depending on what serving it is, maybe brown rice.
Chiselled hunk
In recent years the Olympic gold medallist looks very different to his humble beginnings as a baby-faced newcomer.
His slender features have been traded for muscles, abs and a ripped body that leaves his fans gushing over his appearance. His diet clearly works a treat for him (and us).
With a bulky exterior, Adam is now a chiselled god.
Speaking to Men's Health in 2019, he also explained that he eats a lot of carbs like sweet potatoes, Quorn mince, lean chicken or lean fish like sea bass.
In the interview with the men's publication in 2019, Adam explained: "I’m then just active fuelling; I normally eat around every two hours anyway just to keep my metabolism going.
"When I'm training, I'll be hitting around 7,500 calories. I halve that when I come to race.
"During race time I am very careful with my dieting because I’ve worked with nutritionists before where I’ve cut my calorie levels too quickly and my testosterone levels have dropped."
Eye-catching dance costumes
Adam is now competing on BBC One's Strictly Come Dancing, with professional dance partner Katya Jones.
Each week he not only wows viewers with his impressive dance moves, but he also leaves many fans gushing over his tight ensembles that show off his ripped abs and muscles.
