Tilly Ramsay could surpass her dad Gordon Ramsay's fame and wealth after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing 2021, according to an expert.

The 19-year-old influencer is expected to achieve showbiz stardom as she's set to appear on the hit BBC One dancing show, which kicks off on Saturday (18 September).

Tilly has already bagged a huge social media fan base for herself, having racked up nearly 1 million followers on Instagram and 9.5 million followers on TikTok.

However, it seems the young star could be about to reach new heights in the world of television and social media which could leave her raking in millions.

The Daily Star spoke exclusively to a PR expert to find out how far Tilly could go on Strictly, and how rich and famous she could become after starring on the popular dancing show.

Georgia Gadsby, the Co-Founder and Head of PR at Unearth PR, said that Tilly could go far in Strictly and beyond due to her stacks of social media fans and prior dancing experience from TikTok videos.

She said: "Whilst her father is the infamous Gordon Ramsay, Tilly has created a name for herself on her own.

"Known largely for her hilarious TikTok videos, she's tapped into a huge Gen Z audience that love to engage with TikTok trends, particularly dance routines, making her the perfect candidate for Strictly to attract a younger audience.

"Her experience dancing on TikTok, and vast knowledge of social media, will lend itself well in this competition and throughout her career, enabling her to go far in the show and beyond."

Georgia also predicted that Tilly will win the hearts of the British public during her time on the show due to her lovable personality, bringing in a new "family friendly" angle to the Ramsay family name and rivalling Gordon's notoriously strict persona on shows like Hell's Kitchen.

She commented: "Unlike her father, Tilly exudes a consistent loving and caring energy on all her platforms, from TikTok to TV, that I predict the British public will fall in love with.

"She'll bring a completely new family friendly angle to the Ramsay name, leaving iconic Hell's Kitchen stereotypes firmly in the past."

Later on, Georgia remarked that Tilly could actually "surpass her father's fame and wealth" following her appearance on Strictly, with the potential to "earn millions".

She concluded: "I predict her stint on the show will open up many professional doors for her, particularly in areas such as television presenting, potentially following in the footsteps of Scarlett Moffatt – hosting cooking shows like Love Bites on ITV – as opposed to becoming a chef like her father."

"Whilst she may not make millions owning kitchens in Vegas, she definitely has the potential to earn millions and surpass her father's fame and wealth from starting relatively young and in the world of television and social media".

Tilly's first TV appearance came in 2005 when she starred on Gordon's cookery show, The F Word on Channel 4.

She then went onto enjoy a number of stints on Gordon's shows like MasterChef Junior and Hell's Kitchen between 2010 and 2015.

In 2015, it was announced that Tilly would get her own cooking show on CBBS called Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, which she presented from 2015 until 2019.

She's since starred on Celebrity MasterChef Australia as well as shows like ITV's This Morning and BBC's The One Show.
