Watch Conway The Machine Perform His New Album in NPR's Latest Tiny Desk (Home) Concert

Conway The Machine delivered one of the year’s best hip-hop records in From King To A GOD. It was a cohesive effort complete with vivid storytelling of the traumas of street life and excellent production that pushed the already undeniable momentum of the Griselda movement forward. Today Conway returns to perform standouts from that record from a diner booth for the latest episode of the NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert series.

The veteran emcee opens up the video with his first single “Lemon” featuring Method Man, thanking the legendary Wu-Tang Clan member for his guest verse. Conway then delivers “Front Lines”, his social justice and political protest song that he released in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement, which he wrote days after the killing of George Floyd. Other tracks include “Front Lines,” “OverDose,” and “The Cow.”
