Superstar Will Smith’s home was reportedly on fire Monday as fire trucks and an ambulance were seen going into the Men In Black movie star's $42million (£30m) home in Malibu.
A spokesperson for LA County Fire confirmed on Tuesday that “a structure fire had caused smoke damage” at the address.
An LAFD spokesperson said: "The fire was put out quickly yesterday. It was out on arrival.
"Nobody was transported to the hospital, there were no injuries and no medical attention. It’s a very large home. They did an overhaul for 45 minutes."
Video footage from the sprawling estate on Cold Canyon Road showed an ambulance with flashing lights entering just after 3:30pm, followed by several other cars and a utility vehicle.
A witness said a fire broke out somewhere on one of the properties, causing extensive smoke damage.
Despite the presence of an ambulance, there were no injuries, the fire official said.
It was not clear exactly where the fire was located at the 150-acre property, with reports saying that the fire was already out by the time fire crews arrived
An insider told Page Six that Will and Jada are "doing fine" since the house fire.
“They are all fine and in the home," they said.
"A fire broke out in the basement, and a fireman was treated, but everyone is fine,” a source close to the family exclusively told Page Six.
The couple, who celebrated Jada’s 50th birthday over the weekend with a roller-skating party, are reported to have purchased several neighbouring properties and turned them into one enormous estate.
It took seven years to complete the project, which spans 25,000 square feet of living space.
Will's estate boasts nine bedrooms, a home theater, a pool, an eight-car garage, basketball, tennis and volleyball courts and a sunken trampoline.
The sprawling compound was featured in Architectural Digest in 2011, two years before the celeb couple put it on the market for $42 million, though the pair decided to hang on to the stunning property.
Their son Jaden, 23, lives nearby at the couple’s Hidden Hills home. Meanwhile, their daughter Willow, 20, has an oceanfront property in Malibu.
The 52-year-old “Fresh Prince of Bel-Aire” star had been forced to evacuate the property in November 2018 as it came under threat from the Woolsey wildfire.
Reps for Smith and his family did not provide any comment about what started the fire or who was treated.
