X Factor icon Wagner jokes he is a "bad old man" and like a "vampire" who likes "young blood".
During an exclusive chat with the Daily Star for a Facebook Live tell-all, he chatted about his love life post-show and his relationship with the mother of his two young kids.
In a previous interview, Wagner had been open about his 36-year age gap relationship and spoke about his decision to have kids later in life.
At the time, he quipped: "We’d stopped using contraception so it was inevitable because she’s young and fertile. I’m like a vampire – I only like young blood."
Opening up the topic of his love of younger women, host Carly said: "I did read somewhere that you said you are like a vampire who likes young blood. Is that true?"
To which he laughed and said: "That was a joke! Our love has nothing to do with age but it was something that naturally happened."
He added: "Lydia, there she is, she is lovely. I love Lydia and I love my kids. She's 36 years younger – when I met her I was 54 and she was 19. Now, she is 30 and I'm 66."
Later in the chat, the TV star also branded himself a "bad old man".
Talking about the time he was shot in the leg in Brazil, he explained: "Oh yeah, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I was a bad boy but now I'm just a bad old man," he laughed as he told the story.
Detailing the gunshot in more detail, he added: "Oh yeah it was intentional. I have a big plate and eleven bolts because the bullet broke the femur in several places so I had to have a plate to align it and eleven bolts to reconstruct the femur.
"Every time I go to the airport I get searched because I go to the metal detector and it screams 'blip blip blip' and I get searched all the time."
Wagner shot to fame after starring in the 2010 series of the X Factor and made it all the way to the live show semi-finals as Louis Walsh's wildcard contestant.
