A Place in the Sun property expert Jonnie Irwin had a nightmare trying to find Joanna and Scott a villa with a pool along Spain's famous Costa Blanca.
In today's episode on Channel 4 (March 1) he was house-hunting in La Marina Alta and the ideal place was to be a spacious three-bedroom home with a swimming pool and views of the sea with a maximum price of £230,000.
Unfortunately, it got off to a bad start and, at the first villa, Joanna and Scott couldn't hide their disgust at the kitchen and its magnolia colour palette.
The next property fared better and the couple said they would consider it, but things hit a hitch later as Jonnie showed them around a villa near the coast.
Joanna and Scott were clearly unimpressed with the decor and looked downcast as they were shown into a bedroom.
"It's not really doing it for us," said Joanna.
Noticing the shift in mood, Jonnie replied: "Am I wasting my time showing you any more of this house?"
"Yes," said Joanna bluntly.
Scott added that he found the decor outdated and said the property "needs attention in every room that we've seen".

It soon became clear to Jonnie that the couple were looking for an instant holiday home where they could come and relax, rather than a DIY project to turn into their dream home.
"Lesson learned," he said, "I think I need to show you something that's a lot more finished and to do so, perhaps we need to head back inland?"
The couple agreed to compromise and forget the sea views, in the hope they would find something more spacious and modern.

Luckily, Joanna and Scott fell in love with the final property Jonnie found for them and, although it was way over their budget at £254,310, the owner accepted an offer of £233,000.
"I’m elated," Joanna confessed as the trio celebrated the good news in the Spanish sunshine.
This comes after a guest on A Place In The Sun complained the bathroom she was taken around was so tiny it had her "upset and panicking".
