Channel 4 viewers saw guest Sharon bring best friend Christiana along to Spain to view a range of properties with the hope of one becoming her holiday home. The pair were guided by Laura Hamilton in the Spanish region after the former revealed she had lived in the country when she was younger and was looking to find a place there once more. However, in Tuesday afternoon’s instalment, the pair had to reject one property that lacked several features Sharon desired thanks to Christiana’s advice, leaving host Laura to exclaim: “Wow, I’m shocked.”
Laura introduced the pair and explained they were “all about style” when it came to finding their dream home.
Sharon was looking for a property as close to the beach as possible and enlisted the wisdom of her pal to help decide.
Of Sharon’s wish to move to the region, Laura told viewers: “She feels the time is right to invest in her dream holiday home.
“They both have a passion for design and Sharon is looking forward to doing more of that.”
Sharon revealed she had an interest in design and was looking to work on a handbag range when upon moving to Torrevieja.
But after viewing the second property of the evening, Christiana’s hesitations became clear – even though Laura was convinced she’d won Sharon over.
Having had a look around, Sharon told Laura she felt the property wasn’t for her, leaving Laura to comment: “Wow, I’m shocked, I really thought we had a second contender.”
“It’s my fault, partly,” Christiana admitted before Sharon listed off its faults: “I mentioned the view and then there was no air-con and then there was this glass balcony, it just think takes away from it a bit.”
