Abbey Clancy has reportedly put her name forward for a "guest" presenter role on This Morning in the wake of Holly Willoughby's exit as permanent host.
The 37 year old star seems to have made her position clear as she's eyeing up the hugely-popular daytime TV show, and even wants her husband Peter Crouch to join in.
ITV continues to search for a permanent replacement on the series after the unexpected departure of longtime host Holly, 42, not much more than a month ago after discovering someone had been planning to kidnap and murder her.
The Dancing On Ice presenter made her final bow on the programme after her former co-host and close friend, Phillip Schofield, stepped down in May after 21 years, and at the time, admitted he'd previously had an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a much younger colleague.
Now, Abbey has reportedly made her feelings known about desiring a spot on This Morning, where she would be guest presenting with her England footballer husband.
A source told The Sun: "A guest spot would be an ideal option, and given her and Peter are the ultimate double act on their podcast, The Therapy Crouch, they might be the perfect match while the search continues for a more permanent solution.
"For Abbey, her children are always her priority and with so much on her plate at the moment work wise, a commitment like This Morning would naturally be a huge undertaking."
Another insider also told the publication that there's a "real need" to find a host whose "fun personality shines" and that TV star Abbey could be the "perfect fit".
They went on to say that having Abbey join the programme "in any way possible" would be the dream, and having Peter too would be an "unbelievable" coup.
While fans will have to wait and see how ITV bosses choose to proceed with the show, fans have been begging for them to make Rylan Clark, 35, and Josie Gibson, 38, the main presenters after an exceptional double act last week.
Rylan's return to the couch was already hotly-anticipated, and fans were sharing their joy as his particular brand of humour and enthusiasm was back on-screens.
But his and Josie's natural chemistry and rapport had viewers cheering in their seats.
"Haven't really watched #ThisMorning in ages but today with Rylan, Josie & Gok it's like a breath of fresh air," one person posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, at the time.
Another fan commented: "So pleased @Rylan is back on the #ThisMorning @thismorning – perfect duo, #Ryan and #Josie @Josiestweet."
"Rylan and Josie are the perfect combo for this morning presenters! Down to earth, humble and funny! so refreshing to watch," a third enthused.
ITV bosses were said to be "thrilled" at Rylan's return, as a source claimed "Rylan is just so popular with the British public" and is "adored".
"This Morning bosses are absolutely delighted to have got him back on after such a long break. He will be joining Josie and he is thrilled," they went on. "The pair of them will have such a laugh together, ITV executives are sure that they will be a real hit with the viewers."
