Alison Hammond was left in hysterics on Friday's episode of This Morning as she recalled the time she accidentally gatecrashed a wedding.
During the latest instalment, Alison, 47, and co-host Dermot O'Leary were discussing the latest reports, which included angry villagers in Norfolk's Oxnead warding off brides and grooms in row over noisy weddings.
This prompted Alison to share her own story about a wedding as she recalled the time she accidentally gatecrashed a ceremony at the hotel she was staying at.
The presenter said: "I went to this hotel, right, so they gave me like this garden room and in the morning, I opened the garden room, had my little robe on, and next thing I know, I was in a wedding!
"Literally, I had the bride looking at me and she was like: 'That's Alison Hammond!' but she was supposed to be looking at her groom!
"I was like: 'Hi!', so I thought I'm going to pull up a chair as I might as well be part of this.
"So I pulled up a chair, I'm in my robe, and I'm just like watching this wedding at the hotel. I loved it!"
Dermot was left in hysterics as he asked: "You didn't know them?" to which Alison continued: "No, I didn't know them at all but by the end of the evening, they had me in the party, it was great!"
It comes after Alison left viewers confused recently as she admitted she had been overcharged £10,000 for a car service – and failed to spot it.
Hosting the show alongside Dermot, the presenter revealed she was charged the eye watering amount as the pair discussed a man being charged £35,000 for a four mile Uber trip.
She told Dermot: "I can't say for certain who it was, but my son's working there now, and I had paid for the service, but I didn't notice they had charged me £10,000 for the service.
"I had not checked my bank account. They noticed a week later and they rang me up and they said: 'Look, we have charged you £10,000.'
"It was meant to be £1k but they charged me ten thousand. They explained they had overcharged me but I hadn't even noticed. But that is nice they phoned me back."
Alison recently celebrated 20 years on This Morning with a surprise from her colleagues Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and Josie Gibson.
