CARDI B is getting ready to host the American Music Awards Sunday night, and fans are already wondering what kind of weird, wonderful outfits will the singer show off.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, has wowed with her wardrobe at past events, be it as a performer, presenter or guest.
Now she gets the brightest spotlight, as host, and what awards show host doesn't enjoy the opportunity to wear several different outfits throughout the lengthy show?
“When I received the invite to host the AMAs, I was so excited,” Cardi said in a statement. “I’m ready to bring my personality to the AMAs stage!”
While this will be her first time hosting, she is no stranger to the award show, as she has won five AMA awards over the years and is even a Grammy Award winner.
Executive producer Jesse Collins added: "We are immensely excited to have the dynamic Cardi B bring her infectious energy to the American Music Awards as a first-time host.
“She will excite the viewers, push the limits and deliver a show that will be remembered forever!”

Just weeks after giving birth to her second child, Cardi flew into the Paris Fashion Week in September to make her much anticipated red carpet return.
And the rapper did not disappoint, sporting a red sequin gown and matching gloves topped with a hood of feathers flocking around her head.

Not every outfit can be a winner, as fans let Cardi hear it after she strolled down the streets of Paris in a wild green catsuit and bonnet that some said made her look like a Teletubby or Gumby.
The super-tight bodysuit clung to her figure and showed off her flat tummy, nipping her in at the middle to show off her tiny waist.
The catsuit, designed by Richard Quinn, came with a frilly bonnet and sleeves that turned into gloves.
2021 LOS ANGELES
Even a quick shoppig trip is an opportunity for Cardi to show off.
In January, 2021, the hitmaker was spotted on the streets of Los Angeles in a semi-sheer red dress that, thanks to an optical illusion, looked transparent, but really wasn't.
She paired it with a fashion-conscious red face mask.
Cardi showed off the dress on Instagram, telling her followers to "Enjoy life."
2020 WAP VIDEO
Possibly Cardi's most controversial outfit to date was the ultra-revealing leopard bodysuit she wore in her video for equally controversial song WAP.
The skin-tight outfit exposes her breast, with her nipples only covered by matching leopard pasties.
The music video has been viewed more than 400 million times on YouTube, and the debate over whether the song is a celebration of female sexuality and desire, or simply soft porn, continues.
2020 GRAMMYS
Cardi B's husband Offset had his hands full trying to keep his wife covered up at a 2020 Grammy party.
The Up singer wore a revealing pink dress with black sequins and neckline that plunged straight down.
Cardi and company were attending a Grammys gala in Beverly Hills the night before the ceremony, and she confessed on an Instagram message to her mate that she was having wardrobe malfunctions.
"Babe my t**ties keep poppin out," Cardi shared, alongside a photo of the two.
2019 PARIS FASHION WEEK
French fans were left speechless when they saw Cardi's fashion week outfit, but whether or not the singer could see them was the question.
Cardi turned heads when she walked in front of the Eiffel Tower completely covered head to toe in ablue, green and white floral ensemble that was reminiscent of 1970's era curtains.
Even her face was covered by the garment.
"I heard you b***hes were missing me at Fashion Week New York. I'm here to serve it to you mother-f**kers, and serve it to you cold," she said in an Instagram video, later revealing that no, "a b***h can't see" in the outfit.
2019 MET GALA
A pregnant Cardi put the red in red carpet at the 2019 Met Gala, when she wore an elaborate Thom Browne gown with a train so large, it required a team of five men to help make her way up The Metropolitan Museum of Art's grand staircase.
The entire ensemble was said to have taken over 2,000 hours to create and features some 30,000 feathers
The custom bodice, which featured 44 carats worth of rubies acting as nipple covers, was valued at $250,000.
2019 GRAMMY AWARDS
Cardi had fans clamming up after they saw her 2019 Grammy Awards dress.
The star showed up dressed as a human pearl in an oyster shell gown.
The ensemble came complete with a pearl headpiece, matching necklaces, and bedazzled belt.
2019 BONNAROO
Leave it to Cardi to turn a wardrobe malfunction into a makeshift memorable outfit.
While performing at the 2019 Bonnaroo music festival in Manchester, Tennessee, the entertainer accidentally split open her multicolor jumpsuit, exposing her backside.
After scurrying off stage, she shortly returned dressed in just a bathrobe, which she wore for the rest of her set.
But she even found a way to make her makeshift outfit sexy, letting the robe loosen up and fall open, revealing her beige strapless bra.
“We gonna keep it moving, baby,” she told fans after returning to the stage. “We gonna keep it sexy.”
2018 AMA AWARDS
Cardi expressed her flower power at the 2018 AMA Awards, in a floral Dolce & Gabbana ballgown.
The dress was covered with brightly colored flowers on a solid black background.
It was aired with an equally colorful hat made of the same floral-print as her dress.
