Ant and Dec have given their fans an insight into the new series of Saturday Night Takeaway.

The comedy duo have just started filming the fourth series of the entertainment show following the finish of I'm A Celebrity.

Looking elated, the pair are seen posing with a clipperboard in a snap shared on their Instagram account.

To ramp up excitement, the pair wrote with their post: "Dapper clappers at your Saturday Night service.

"A lil’ peek from promo filming to tickle your fancy. Excited!?"

Their post was met with a flood of comments from their fans who thanked the pair for hosting the prime-time show.

"Ant & Dec saving 2021, as they should," one wrote.

"Here to save 2021," another added, while a third wrote: "They work you guys hard! Do you ever get a break man?!"

In a teaser for the show shared on the lads Twitter account last week, Ant is seen screaming as Dec strapped him to a torture chair.

The snap was captioned: "What the hell’s going on here? We’re back at work that’s what! Bit of covid-compliant @itvtakeaway filming… Who’s excited for the new series?"

Viewers rushed to share their excitement about the new series of the ITV show which features a mixture of live and pre-recorded entertainment and quiz segments.

One viewer commented: "I so can't wait to see what sort of mad plot you've cooked up for us this year! Looks rather, erm, interesting…."

Another said: "Can’t wait brilliant nice to see you lads stay safe take care clot of love to you both."

As a result of lockdown, studio audiences will again not be part of the new series.

Ant and Dec were also recently seen in a new ad for bank Santander.

In it the duo were transformed into pixellated video game characters in their spoof 'Bank of AntandDec'.
