Ant McPartlin to wed fiancée Anne-Marie Corbett in low-key ceremony in August

ANT McPartlin is to wed fiancée Anne-Marie Corbett in a low-key ceremony in August, we can reveal.

The couple, who got engaged at Christmas, will tie the knot in church in front of just their close friends and family.

Ant’s telly sidekick Declan Donnelly, 45, is expected to be his best man at the church wedding in London.

A source said: “Neither of them want the razzmatazz of a showbiz wedding. They just want their nearest and dearest with them.

“It will be a simple but beautiful ceremony, without the glare of the spotlight.

“They’re both extremely excited and can’t wait to tie the knot.

"But they’re desperate to keep a lid on things. Those who know have been told it’s top secret.

“Anne-Marie has already been for her dress fitting.”

The couple are said to have looked at getting wed abroad but thought it too unpredictable due to Covid.

The wedding will be in sharp contrast to Ant’s lavish, star-studded nuptials with Strictly make-up artist ex, Lisa Armstrong.

They got married in 2006 at Cliveden House Hotel, Bucks, in front of 150 guests — followed by a huge fireworks display.

Ant, 45, proposed to Anne-Marie, 43, on Christmas Eve, with a ring he designed himself.

It marks the end of a turbulent three years for the Saturday Night Takeaway host after his divorce from Lisa.

Their decree absolute was finalised last year — formally ending their 11-year marriage.
