Bake Off pulled from screens next week in fresh schedule shake-up set to leave fans fuming | The Sun

The Great British Bake Off will be pulled from screens next week in a fresh schedule shake-up set to leave fans fuming.

The hit Channel 4 baking show usually airs at 8pm on Tuesdays.

But next week, it will not air in its usual slot because of international football coverage.

In its place, England's match against Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifying match will air from 7pm until 10.15pm.

It means Bake Off fans will have to wait an extra day to get their latest fix from the famous tent.

The fourth episode will now air on Wednesday, October 18 at 8pm, a day later than usual.

The theme for the week is chocolate, with the Signature Challenge seeing the bakers make a tricky torte.

Meanwhile the Technical Challenge is all about cheesecake before the Showstopper Challenge tests the bakers to make a chocolate box for judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.

Last night's episode saw the bakers tackle Bread Week, with the contestants desperate to impress the 'King of Bread', Paul, 57.

Sadly, Abbi was unable to do so, and became the latest baker to be sent home.
