The Great British Bake Off finale airs tomorrow on Channel 4, and the bakers are having their skills tested and pushed to the limit for the last time to see who will be crowned the Bake Off winner. As the competition comes to an end, Chigs, Crystelle and Giuseppe will battle it out for the last time and show judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith what they are made of. However, as new evidence emerges, Chigs could be crowned Bake Off Winner as his Instagram has seen a spike in popularity.
The remaining finalists will take away a series of life-changing rewards from being on the show, one of which being thousands of new Instagram followers and paid collaborations.
BuzzBingo calculated each contestants’ growth in popularity during their time on the show and predicted who will win.
Chigs is predicted to win the Bake Off with the highest earned following week on week as his following has climbed to an impressive 50,300.
That is a 27.24 per cent increase in follows since he first started the competition, meaning he’s left a lasting impression on the viewers.
In second place, BuzzBingo has predicted Crystelle as she has gained a 23.13 per cent increase in followers, giving her a total of 48,000.
Not far behind in third place is Giuseppe, with an increase of 19.74 per cent in followers as he has a total of 46,600.
So could the social media analysis spell glory for Chigs in Tuesday’s Bake Off final?
Last week, fans were devastated to see series-favourite Jurgen Krauss eliminated from the competition.
Jurgen had won Star Baker twice in the first two weeks of the competition but always remained humble.
After his departure, he left many fans in tears with his touching exit letter which he compared his experience of being on the show to flying on the moon.
He wrote: “Who wants to fly on the moon if you can be on Bake Off? It was such a fantastic ride.
“Preparing all the recipes gave me confidence to experiment with flavours in sweet baking, to an extent I’ve never done before.
“A huge thank you to all of you for all the kindness and warmth in your response and support, lots of love, Jurgen.”
