BBC Breakfast fans slammed Naga Munchetty for being "petty and nasty" after she made a dig at Carol Kirkwood's outfit on the BBC show this morning.
Things got slightly awkward during this morning's edition of the breakfast programme.
Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt delivered the latest news to BBC viewers this morning on the iconic red sofa.
Carol Kirkwood joined the duo to provide the most recent weather forecast, saying that heavy rain is expected this week.
The weather presenter informed viewers that the Met Office had issued a red warning and urged them to be safe.
Charlie then made a joke about Carol's clothing, asking if she was wearing red today to "colour coordinate" with the Met Office's red warning.

The BBC Breakfast star joked: "I'm presuming Carol that, that is why you are wearing red today, it is also colour coordinated right?"
Carol giggled and responded: "No it's not, it is what is clean, what is ironed, yikes."
Taking a swipe at Carol's clothes as well, Naga commented on the cleanliness of her outfit.
"At least it is clean, that's a good thing isn't it?," Naga quipped.

Carol who didn't look too thrilled, snapped back: "What are you saying, it's not ironed?"
But BBC viewers were not impressed with Naga's behaviour, with many dubbing her "nasty and petty", as they took to X/Twitter to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "BBC Breakfast Naga's still dishing out the back-handed compliments, I see."
A second added: "Am I the only one annoyed at Naga what's her name stealing Carol's thunder every time she comes on to do the weather? Naga seems determined to tell us the weather before Carol has a chance to. Petty, pathetic, nasty, or all three?"
A third penned: "Naga just can't help but make a dig can she?"
