BBC Breakfast’s Dan Walker ‘flirts’ with Jeff Goldblum in hilarious interview

BBC Breakfast viewers are convinced Dan Walker and Louise Minchin showed their flirtatious side with Hollywood A-lister Jeff Goldblum this morning.

The actor, best known for his roles in Jurassic Park and Independence Day, visited the BBC studios to discuss his new album collaborated with Miley Cyrus.

And he appeared to get on very well with the two Breakfast hosts.

In one clip, Jeff tells Louise: "You look like a young, beautiful Ellen Barken.

"I did a couple of movies with her, do you know Ellen Barken? I think you look like her."

Appreciative Louise said: "That's very kind of you, thank you."

Dan then pulled a picture of Ellen up on his phone, where Jeff added: "Oh, I think I'm not wrong."

Louise cheekily replied: "Where did you go to the school of charm?"

Jeff stuttered while sporting a cheeky smile, before saying: "Somethings the matter with me, I think that's the case."

When Louise began to discuss the star's new album, Dan adds: "The album is actually really good.

"I know you'd expect me to say that but it is really good."

Dan and Jeff then begin to execute a personalised handshake and the pair giggle with glee.

"Let's do a Roman handshake if we were Romans we would do this," Jeff said, as he grabs Dan by the arm.

He attempts to do it with Louise but she was too busy giggling.

As the fun continued, she encouraged the weather presenter to take over.

Hoards of viewers have since turned to Twitter to joke that the trio were in a non-stop flirt-fest throughout the interview.

One person said: "Dan Walker is absolutely smitten with Jeff Goldblum there."

A second added: "What a flirt, Jeff Goldblum."

"Watching Louise Minchin and Mr Dan Walker flirt with the amazing Jeff Goldblum is just the best TV," a third said.

"What an amazing, talented, funny man and wonderful interview."

Another asked: "I think Louise Minchin might have a little crush on Jeff Goldblum, what do you reckon Dan?"

Jeff's album I Shouldn't Be Telling You This is out now.

It's not the first time the BBC presenters have hit the headlines.

Only yesterday, Dan blasted claims that Strictly Come Dancing is fixed.

He hit back at claims his BBC Breakfast colleague Mike Bushell is the subject of a Strictly Come Dancing fix after the presenter was saved from the dance-off for the third successive week.
