Jon Kay joked he and co-host Sally Nugent might get 'arrested' after celebrating BBC Breakfast's 40th birthday party this week.
The Breakfast presenters were forced to admit they'd crammed their faces with cake in the studio as it was Breakfast's 40th birthday party on Tuesday (January 17).
But unfortunately, they ended up having to bring up their sponge-scoffing antics in front of GP Dr Helen Wall during a discussion about bringing sweet treats into the office.

It comes after a new report in The Times paper urged people 'don't bring cake into the office' as it encourages an obesity crisis.
Holding up the headline, Jon asked Dr Helen: "What do you make of that?"
The doctor replied: "It does feel a little bit like we're trying to control everything, but at the end of the day you've got to have a little bit of willpower, haven't you? I think it's been likened to passive smoking.
"If somebody is smoking next to you, you can't help but inhale that. If someone's got a cake next to you, you don't have to eat it, do you?"
Sally then confessed: "We've still got cake in our office from yesterday, haven't we? Because we had a little bit of a birthday party here yesterday."
Sally described the cake as "gorgeous" and explained that everybody had a slice of it, before seemingly dobbing Jon in it when she added: "Maybe don't have a giant slice of cake."
Dr Helen noted: "You've got to have some pleasures as well, in the work place."
Jon added: "Well that's reassuring, I'm glad you're not going to arrest us or something for eating cake yesterday."
Dr Helen joked: "I'll be avoiding that on the way out."
Jon, Sally and other Breakfast stars such as Sally Nugent, Charlie Stayt appeared on the famous red sofa.
