EastEnders: Christmas storyline trailer
EastEnders bosses have released another Christmas trailer which has given away a big clue surrounding the killer in question.
The huge hint which has sent fans into a frenzy was the music playing from the jukebox in the short trailer.
One viewer spotted a link between the scene and a past episode on the BBC show.
Identifying the song, they think it suggests who turns into a murderer this Christmas.
It is understood, that the murderer is out of six women in the soap who are the suspects in question.

Taking to X [formerly known as Twitter], one viewer worked out what the song was being played on a jukebox on the clip.
They said: “ON THE JUKEBOX IN THE TRAILER ‘IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER’ IS PLAYING,”
“THROWBACK TO THIS SCENE BETWEEN DENISE AND KIM IN DECEMBER (!!!!!!!!) 2020 – IN THE BLEAK MIDWINTER IS PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND.”
Referring to the scene from 2020, Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish) was seen panicking over the return of ex-Lucas Johnson (Don Gilet).
Lucas was the father to her child Libby (Belinda Owusu) but turned out to be a serial killer.

The controlling and manipulative character put Denise through it over the years. In the episode, she was keen to stop him from getting what he wanted, saying it was “all about power”.
She was also seen to admit that she was his “weakness”.
He locked her up and faked her death, resulting in residents going to her funeral.

Thankfully Denise escaped from his tight grip and is still in the hit BBC soap to tell the tale.
All of the women in the six find themselves in a position of power.
From Nish Panesar to Dean Wicks, they have all committed awful acts against the six suspects – Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth)and Denise.
If the song choice places any significant relevance, then fingers point to Denise being the killer.
There is a huge emphasis on the jukebox. Actress Gillian previously appeared in a behind-the-scenes episode, where the words “Jukebox Gilly” were displayed on her dressing room door.
The large clue left fans convinced it was Kathy.
It leaves the question – could both Denise and Kathy have teamed up and caused the imminent death of a character?
EastEnders airs Monday to Thursday on BBC One at 7.30pm.
