Billie Faiers and sister Sam spark complaints on boozy first class flight to NYC as star lashes out at plane staff – The Sun

BILLIE and Sam Faiers sparked complaints on their boozy first class flight to New York City, with 30-year-old Billie lashing out at British Airways staff on social media.

This is not the first time the pair's behaviour has been disruptive, with the entire family coming under fire for "ruining" other guests' luxury holidays during Billie's Maldives wedding last year.

The former Towie stars had been documenting their trip to the Big Apple alongside mum Sue on social media, with 29-year-old Sam gifting her sister the holiday for her birthday.

Both women shared a snap of themselves in matching New York jumpers while clutching a champagne glass of a fizzy cocktail in the BA lounge.

Billie followed up with a selfie from inside the plane, with her and Sam clinking two more glasses of champers as they prepared for take off in their luxury seats.

Sam also posted a video to her Instagram Story, showing herself giggling as she says "cheers" to the camera while raising her glass.

However, the flight appeared to take a sour turn soon after – with Billie posting a statement to her social media page to complain about airline staff who had reprimanded her family.

She wrote: "I would like to say a huge thank you to some of the staff @British_Airways at the airport… However… Since being on the plane someone has complained because me, my mum, and sister have been laughing.

"Yes, laughing – how dare we, on our way to New York.

"Anyhow, that fun sucker [BA staff] from @British_Airways told us to 'keep the noise down'… Please honey, are we not even allowed to laugh these days?"

She then added an eye-rolling emoji.

The complaint is reminiscent of various recounts of Billie's March wedding to Greg Shepherd last year, with legions of holidaymakers at the same resort slamming the "yobbish" wedding guests.

The wedding party were said to have left dirty nappies on the beach after "taking over" the luxury resort – with other guests banned from certain areas of the hotel as the family filmed for their ITVBe TV series.

One disappointed holidaymaker told The Sun Online that Greg had called a hotel guest a "c***" as they took a photo of Billie in her bridal gown while they tried to regain access to their villa.

An onlooker told us that hotel security were forced to intervene after the groom and one of his friends turned nasty.

Another slammed the wedding party's "arrogance and flagrant disregard for others".

We also revealed that Billie's drunk stepdad had been kicked off the Maldives flight and passengers had endured a 13-hour journey from hell because of the group's "bad behaviour".

A source on the flight told us at the time: "It was horrendous.

"Far from showing any remorse about the delay, they exhibited the worst ever qualities of Englishman abroad."

However, Billie insisted that her wedding party were "very respectful" and insisted that she had no complaints.
