Britain's Got Talent fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on Alesha Dixon's outfit during the semi-finals show on 2 June.

Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly opened the show with the help of the contestants as they made their way down to centre stage.

They introduced Alesha along with her fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell before they turned their attention to the first act of the night.

However, many ITV viewers were left bewildered after they caught sight of the singer's ensemble for the night.

Alesha styled her long dark hair in a sleek bun on the top of her head and accessorised with large diamond earrings but the main event got everyone talking.

She wore a giant puffy white dress that exposed her shoulders and arms, bunched at the centre to mimic the shape of a rose as she sat behind the judges table.

Confused fans went to Twitter to compare her outfit to some similar looking objects.

A viewer tweeted out: "From a distance, it looks like Alesha has came as a giant prawn cracker tonight!"

Another said: "So we had Alesha sporting the Morph suit dress last night and now she’s sporting the air bag activation dress tonight."

One baffled fan also added: "Alesha Dixon bringing her duvet to the Britain's Got Talent show on TV tonight."

Alesha is no stranger to wearing bold outfits on the talent show and the previous night was no exception.

The former Mis-Teeq singer wore an all in one neon pink suit which covered her arms completely and featured gloves at the end.

She styled her hair in a spiky bun and wore the lower half straight, placed over her shoulders as she judged the acts for the night.

Dixon wore her jewellery over the gloves which seemed to irk some of the viewers.

Amanda Holden is known for her daring outfits on the show and has previously refused to cover up during her appearances.

The show once received 633 Ofcom complaints over one of her dresses, which featured black sequins and a plunging neckline down to her navel.

She spoke to OK! Magazine about the fashion choice and said that if the show didn't receive complaints about whatever she was wearing, then she "wasn't doing her job".
