A CORONATION Street character is set for a dramatic comeback involving Max Turner, The Sun can exclusively reveal.
We can report how Lauren Bolton – who left the Cobbles four months ago – will make her return to the ITV soap.
Lauren, played by Cait Fitton, first arrived on Coronation Street in late 2022.
She was at the heart of an extremist grooming plot involving teen Max, played by actor Paddy Bever, before the pair struck up a relationship.
We can now report how former Doctors star Cait will resume her plotline in July.
Insiders at the soap have told how she is already filming scenes for her character's upcoming storylines.

On-screen, Lauren's father Reece became involved in racist thug Griff's plan to wreak havoc in Weatherfield.
The teen got closer to troubled teen Max Turner, recruited by Griff, and romantic feelings emerged.
She was last seen on screen in January when she split with Max.
It came as she was forced to go and live with her mum in Cornwall.

Last year, Corrie fans were left disgusted after Max chose racist Lauren over his pal in a particularly cutting storyline.
In January, Cait let slip her character was leaving the Cobbles.
She took a snap showing her posing in an ITV puffer coat outside the iconic Rovers Return Inn in a black and white shot.
"Was a dream… still is a dream," she captioned it, before branding herself "the luckiest girl in the world."
It came after her on-screen boyfriend realised gang member Griff – along with Lauren's dad Reece – had a deadly plan in mind for Weatherfield.
Max was led to believe residents were in mortal danger when Reece phoned Lauren, demanding she stays away from Maria Connor's Peace Market.
After spotting a Speed Daal van which he thought had been taken, Max was certain a bomb had been planted in the vehicle and turned to Yasmeen and Alya Nazir for help.
Despite her grandmother's pleas, Alya jumped in the van and drove it to an isolated location with only seconds to spare.
It remains to be seen what Lauren's plans will be when she returns.
