CORONATION Street fans have spotted a clue that 'proves' Tim Metcalfe is still alive despite Stephen attempting to kill him off.
As part of the epic Super Soap Week, ITV viewers were left stunned as Stephen appeared to kill off the fan favourite following a fracas in the car before beating him once again and appearing to deliver a killer blow.
The outcome was left up to fans imaginations as Stephen appeared to leave him bundled in the back of his own cab.
But eagle-eyed fans may have noticed a 'clue' that proves that Tim Metcalfe is still very much alive.
Actor Joe Duttine was snapped on set as recently as last week which has prompted theory that his character will be well and truly safe from Stephen's killer hands.
In an image shared to Instagram taken last week, Joe could be seen beaming in a photo alongside some fans as well as his co-stars Alison King (Carla Connor) and Ryan Russell (Michael Bailey).
