Coronation Street: Stephen Reid commits second murder
Coronation Street viewers believe Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) will lose his memory as a result of a bust-up with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).
On Wednesday night, fans of the ITV soap saw Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) realise her fiance has been lying to her as she discovered a photo of him and his ex-wife.
Revealing everything to her son Tim, they pried open his metal box containing important documents where they discovered forged life insurance forms for Elaine.
Confronting Stephen, Tim shoved him into the metal staircase which resulted in the killer getting a serious head injury as he was later found collapsed in the street.
During the episode, it transpired Stephen was undergoing surgery as a result of Tim’s aggressive behaviour.

@DavidBoink tweeted: “What if that knock to the head on Stephen’s staircase gives him amnesia and complete personality change? Nobody would be any the wiser including him.”
@StuartBeckMP said: “I hope Uncle Stephen has memory loss and reverts back to his pre-serial killer personality and goes back to Canada or Milan.”
With @topgooner100 adding: “Is Stephen getting a personality transplant then? He’s going to forget everything isn’t he.”
Currently, Stephen has gotten away with murder on three separate occasions as his victims have stood in the way of his cunning schemes.
However, he’s been plotting to kill his fiance Elaine in order to obtain money from her life insurance.
At the end of Wednesday night, fans saw Tim get arrested on the charge of GBH, although he’s determined he only pushed him as Stephen seemed well when he left the flat.
Will Tim be sent to prison as a result of his angry outburst? And will Stephen forget all of the terrible crimes that he’s committed?
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm.
