Sam Blakeman is in deep trouble next week as Coronation Street spoilers reveal Harvey shows his hand once more on the cobbles.
Since being locked up in prison for running a drug ring, Harvey has been using his aunt Sharon Bentley to do his dirty work.
But his web stretches further than even Sharon can envisage, as he has a network of thugs operating on the outside.
Sharon has been attempting to draw Nick and Leanne out of hiding to try and swing Harvey a lighter sentence by threatening them.
But despite Leanne’s rational fear that Nick might be walking into a trap, Nick returns home to help look for Sam when the news of his son going missing reaches him at the safe house.
When Sharon spots Nick heading into Number 8, she calls Harvey, while a furious Natasha and an anxious Nick watch with a feeling of dread as a policewoman approaches the house.
Meanwhile, a terrified Sam is trapped in the van and left unable to summon help.
Later on Monday, Nick finds himself in danger as he climbs into a taxi – only to discover the driver is one of Harvey’s thugs.
He hands Nick a burner phone and tells him that unless Leanne and Simon retract their evidence, he’ll never see his precious son Sam again.
On Wednesday, Nick confesses to David and Shona that Sam’s ordeal is far from an accident – and that it has actually been orchestrated by Harvey.
Nick phones Leanne and explains he won’t be able to return to the hideout as Sam is in danger.
But a furious Natasha hears about Sam’s kidnapping from Shona, and barges her way into Number 8 and demands that Nick call the police and tell them the truth.
She later tells Nick and Leanne that if they won’t go to the cops, she will do it for them.
Shona catches up to the worried mum at the waiting room in the police station and begs her to reconsider, pointing out that by telling the coppers everything she’ll be putting Sam in even more danger.
But will she listen to Shona’s warning or go ahead with the confession?
Meanwhile, the net appears to be closing around Sharon, as she tells Gemma she has decided to move back home. But Gemma insists on meeting for a leaving drink, and a suspicious Jenny smells a rat when Sharon informs her of the sudden change of plan.
