Coronation Street: Daisy and Ryan have heart-to-heart in hospital
Coronation Street actress Tina O’Brien revealed in a new interview she doesn’t want Sarah and Adam to reconcile in the ITV soap.
She said: “It’s a tricky one, I actually quite like the idea that maybe they can’t be together.
“They should be together but now circumstance has damaged their relationship and it’s hard to get that back as much as they might want to.”
In recent scenes in the ITV soap, viewers saw Sarah Platt (played by Tina O’Brien) confess to Adam ( Sam Robertson) that she had slept with Damon Hay (Ciaran Griffiths) after her son had seen them kissing.
Although she’s been trying to earn back his forgiveness, it’s clear the trust has been broken as Adam struggles to accept the betrayal.
The ITV soap star confessed the chances of Sarah and Adam working their issues out will depend on how mature they can be and whether or not the trust has eroded too much.
However, her on-screen husband has a different outlook on the damaged relationship as he told Metro he wants them to survive the affair.
He said: “I would have loved to see them growing their family and living happily together.
“I love working with Tina, I think she’s great. But obviously, the writing team and the audience want to see that conflict.
