Coronation Street spoilers: Daniel Osbourne heartbroken over baby Bertie’s pain

In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Daniel (played by Rob Mallard) will take young Bertie to the doctors to get his immunisations. However, when Bertie begins crying, Daniel is unable to cope and rushes out of the surgery, heartbroken he’s causing the tot pain.

Daniel doesn’t have it easy as he tries to raise young Bertie on his own, trying to rely on his family as little as possible.

However things will get too much for him in upcoming scenes when he takes him to the doctors to get his jabs.

He’s trying to be the perfect father and not let Sinead down but when Bertie begins to cry, he changes his mind about getting him immunised.

Daniel doesn’t want his son to be in pain and after just one jab, he leaves.

The young father refuses to let Dr Gaddas anywhere near his son as he struggles to keep Bertie calm.

As the tot continues to scream in the surgery, he takes the tot home insisting he won’t be back.

However, later on, he starts to feel bad about what happened and opens up to Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) about the incident.

He explains he wants Bertie to have his immunisations but can’t watch him in pain.

Bethany reassures Daniel the baby will be okay and he shouldn’t feel guilty about not wanting to see him cry.

Peter Barlow (Peter Gascoyne) also tells Daniel he needs to take the tot back to the doctors.

But with Peter and Bethany’s reassurances, will Daniel be able to go back or will he choose to stay home with Bertie?

Elsewhere, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) will be doing everything she can to keep her one-night stand with Paula Martin (Stirling Gallacher) a secret.

The mother-of-one is keen to keep her tryst under wraps after she fell out with Steve calling hm a “slimy two-faced sewer rat”.

However, nothing stays secret for too long in soap land and it’s not long before her affair is exposed.

Everything comes to light when Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) snaps at Tracy for not letting Steve (Simon Greyson) see son Olly.

However, when she guest confront Tracy, she overhears an argument about her one-night stand.

Tracy will try to cover up her secret but eventually Leanne learns the truth when Amy returns home and is distraught to hear someone else knows her secret.

Later, Leanne teases Tracy over her fling but as she does, Steve overhears and is devastated.

Tracy reveals she slept with someone at New Year leaving him horrified and announcing their marriage could be over.

Will the pair be able to repair their relationship or is it over for good?

Coronation Street airs Friday on ITV at 7.30pm
