CORONATION Street's Yasmeen Nazir's trial will be postponed after she suffers a heart attack.
The character just cannot catch a break as her health takes a turn for the worse and the trauma of going through trial is put on hold.
After being in prison, a groggy and confused Yasmeen wakes up and finds herself in hospital.
Her granddaughter Alya is by her bedside and tells her she’s had a heart attack, but assures her she’s going to be fine and the trial has been postponed.
In the Kabin Elaine is sad to hear about Yasmeen’s heart attack and also that Geoff’s son Tim believes his dad’s side of the story.
Yasmeen got the shock of her life in Monday's episode when she received a prison visit from Elaine, Geoff's ex-wife and revealed he had abused her too.
Yasmeen initially thought she would be receiving a visit from a member of a charity.
However, Elaine told a porky and said she wasn't actually in fact from a charity and only said that so she would have more chance of her accepting the visit.
A puzzled Yasmeen sat in disbelief as Elaine uttered the words: "I used to be you", before she replied "I'm sorry?"
Elaine replied: "I know exactly what you've been through", before Yasmeen interrupted: "nobody knows what I've been through."
That didn't stop Elaine as she told a stunned Yasmeen: "I was abused by Geoff too, for years."
Fans were completely shocked at the revelation, but celebrated that someone could backup Yasmeen's version of events.
One fan tweeted: "Hooray! Someone to backup Yasmeen Geoffs ex!"
A second viewer wrote: "could Elaine be the smoking gun that Yameen needs to wake her TF up about Geoff & have her found innocent?"
While another user said: "Well, if having the ex come to talk to you and try and spot a pattern, I don't know what's gonna make Yas open the eyes. Surprised nobody involved has used social media on Geoff yet."
