Coronation Street actress Ruxandra Porojnico is back on screens tonight as Alina Pop, following last year's human trafficking storyline, who was last seen before Christmas looking for her ex Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).
At the time, and now, Seb was with Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) and Amy McDonald (Ellie Leech) told Alina that the duo were engaged, to protect her half-sister Emma.
But tonight viewers will see Alina is back – and back with a bang at that – going for the same job that Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) is going for at the factory.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Ruxandra said: "She remained a bit heartbroken for sure, she's trying to put herself back together and get used to the thought that Seb is with someone else.

"She thinks he's engaged, so she's just trying to get over Seb and move on with her life."
Ruxandra told us that Alina "definitely" still has feelings for Seb, adding: "That was the main reason she came back."
When Seb discovers that Alina is back in Weatherfield, he's surprised to see her but introduces her to his new girlfriend Emma.

Then he suggests to Emma that Alina could move into their spare room in the salon flat, but the seriously generous gesture is sure to cause tension.
Ruxandra told us: "It's going to be like a third wheel.
"Emma knows they were together and had feelings for each other, so there's going to be a bit of tension between them, even though they are three good people, good characters. The tension will be there."

Ruxandra teased: "When you have feelings in the game, things can get complicated and even the nicest person can show a bit of anger or they can become a bit mean and jealous."
The character's first scenes back are with Eileen, who was involved in the human trafficking storyline through her relationship with Jan Lozinsky (Piotr Baumann).
Ruxandra told us that Alina is "happy to see Eileen, because she was always nice to her", adding: "She's one of those people who makes her come back.
"Just the thought of people treating her nice makes her come back, even though the main reason was Seb.

"Still, Eileen, she was very nice wth Alina. She's happy to see her and I would say she's kind of a mother figure for Alina on the street."
However the two ladies are both going for the same job, which is sure to cause tension too.
Ruxandra said: "We'll see how it goes. We know already, but we'll see why Alina takes it and Eileen not."
