Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) looks set to claim another victim in Coronation Street next week, as a dead body is found.
With Rufus proving to be a thorn in his side, Stephen knows drastic action needs to be taken.
But, as with most dead bodies on the Street of late, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) is not far away – surely, he must start putting the pieces together.
The danger is, if he does then Stephen will have him in his crosshairs next.
Meanwhile, there is also further tragedy elsewhere, with Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) fearing for his family after he dies.
With his motor neurone disease diagnosis forcing Paul to confront his mortality, he makes a poor decision and approaches Damon Kinsella (Ciaran Griffiths), looking for quick ways to make cash.

Here’s what to expect next week.

Stephen is forced to agree to Rufus’s demand for 50% of the profits. As Rufus heads out, Michael shows Suki in, the reporter from the Gazette. While Stephen and Suki conduct their interview about Nippersnapper, Michael’s increasingly annoyed to be overlooked and heads out.
When Stephen orders Michael back to work, Michael takes great pleasure in telling him that he can stick his job as he’s meeting Rufus later who’s offered him a far better job in London.
