Dancing On Ice 's first same sex couple are experiencing some unique problems when they rehearse their routines as they have revealed their penises are getting in the way.
Professional skater Matt Evers has admitted that his partner Ian Watkins' 'privates' are getting in the way of their dances, which they're having to alter to make it work around his privates.
Steps icon Ian has joined the pro skater in being announced as the first same-sex pairing in the show’s history.
During tonight's Dancing On Ice Christmas special, the duo opened up about the positive reaction they have received from viewers and social media fans.
The former Steps hitmaker, 43, gushed: "Social media has gone ballistic and we feel this tidal wave of love. It’s great."
While pro skater Matt admitted his doubts at first but insisted that everything has been "normal, as it should be."
He added: "I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I started and it’s been normal. As it should be. It’s been incredible.
"He’s taken like a duck to water on the ice. He’s fallen in love with the sport which is great."
When asked if they would have to adapt, Olympic skating legend Christopher Dean, 61, confessed: “You know I don’t know. I’m waiting like everyone else.”
H from Steps – and Matt are the first two men to compete together in the show's 13-year history.
Matt previously opened up to The Sun about having to ditch the roll up lift because of the male anatomy.
He told the publication: "We're in full-on practice mode. There's a practical difference, though. Parts of his anatomy get in the way in certain moves, on some of the lifts."
He added: "We're having to alter the lifts because it's never been done before."
Matt also revealed that they're going to gauge audience reaction before making the routines too intimate.
He continued: "I feel extra pressure, I want to do it justice. We're trying to make it normal."
Johannes Radebe and Graziano di Prima became the first to do an individual same sex routine on Strictly Come Dancing last month.
While the routine went down a storm on social media, almost 200 viewers made official complaints.
Matt’s other Dancing On Ice partners have included Ian’s Steps band mate Lisa Scott-Lee, Hear’Say’s Suzanne Shaw and Baywatch icon Pamela Anderson.
Ian previously competed in CelebrityBig Brother in 2007 and he finished in fourth place.
